The softgels are on the larger side, but I haven’t had any trouble swallowing them. Despite the size, they go down smoothly.
One thing I pay attention to with fish oil is taste and smell, and these do well there. The bottle itself has a noticeable fish scent if you open and smell it directly, but I haven’t noticed any fishy taste or smell when taking one or two softgels.

I couldn’t believe it. My dog will actually eat these like a treat. They’re great for her coat and help keep the ear infections down to a minimum. I also pop one and squeeze it into my diabetic cats food for his dry skin and it’s made a huge difference.
For the dosage amount and the quantity of pills, this is a great value.

The only thing I’ve noticed is that a few hours later, if I burp, I do get a bit of a fishy taste. Not pleasant, but manageable.
All in all, I still recommend them even though I’m not totally sure yet on the benefits.

I have been using this fish oil product for years it’s very good I use it to help manage my cholesterol and just the overall health benefit of fish oil omega-3. Also good for your joints. There is absolutely no side effects for me with this product
The pill is large but it is a capsule so it is not hard to swallow. I don’t have a problem with tasting the fish oil afterwards it is tasteless.

I could not find the fish oil that I was using at a good price, so I decided to buy this because it has a good value. The pill size is good and easy to swallow. Some doctors say to take it, and others say it doesn’t matter. So I decided to cut down to one a day. I don’t like the taste or smell of fish anyway. But this pill does not taste or smell that fishy. It states on the package that it is purified to remove mercury. So I do think that makes a difference and have reordered.

I’ve tried a few fish oil brands over the years, and most left me with that unpleasant fishy aftertaste or, worse, fishy burps throughout the day. This one is different—no reflux, no burps, no weird taste at all. The enteric coating really does the trick. After about a month of taking it daily, I’ve noticed my joints feel noticeably less creaky in the mornings, and my dry skin has improved more than any lotion ever managed. The capsules are a reasonable size too—easy to swallow without choking them down. Most people benefit from fish‑oil supplements, even if they eat fish occasionally. Check with your doctor first—some people have genetics that don’t respond well to higher omega‑3 intake, and whole fish may be a safer option for them.
I prefer sardines as a food source because they’re inexpensive, portable, and very low in pollutants. Larger fish accumulate contaminants from eating many smaller fish. Fish‑oil supplements usually avoid this problem because they’re made from small fish and the refining process removes much of the unwanted material.
Oxidation is the main issue with any fish oil. Liquid oil should always be refrigerated, and even capsules can benefit from cooler storage. I add a small amount of BHT when I open a new bottle to slow oxidation.
These capsules are large and can be hard to swallow. At this price point, the oil isn’t refined enough to eliminate all fishy taste or odor, and some people may experience “fish‑oil burps.”
As for skin or other benefits, results vary. If someone has been avoiding omega‑6 fats entirely, fish oil won’t fix that. Replacing saturated and hydrogenated fats with polyunsaturated fats is far more important. Seed oils—even refined ones—perform similarly to olive oil in well‑designed studies.
